The Secretariat to the Cree Nation Abitibi-Témiscamingue Economic Alliance, from the beginning of the pandemic situation of COVID-19, has been looking at solutions to continue to offer its services to its network.

The development of virtual solutions has allowed us to complete the range of means at our disposal to continue to INFORM, COMMUNICATE, EXCHANGE, and BRING TOGETHER. These are the four pillars of our mission to promote lasting ties and socio-economic alliances between the Cree Nation (Eeyou Istchee), Jamésie, Abitibi-Témiscamingue and Nunavik, in order to foster the harmonious development of relations.

After organizing webinars on the theme of sustainable development, that were held this summer and which were a great success, the Secretariat is now announcing the unveiling of a virtual matchmaking tool that will allow Indigenous and non-Indigenous organizations and businesses to benefit with their annual subscription of a personalized matchmaking. It is a brand-new smart matching platform to create strategic alliances. It is designed to analyze and match information by facilitating and speeding up data processing, all to boost your business relationships in a northern environment. Focused on building business partnerships with Crees and Northern Indigenous and non-Indigenous businesses, the platform aims to proactively assist you in developing sustainable relationships. Created to foster contacts and networking through video conferencing, by reducing the need to schedule face-to-face meetings, it reduces the barrier of distance in the development of business meetings and in access to professional events of all types.

On the occasion of the unveiling of the platform, an activity, virtual ... as it should be, is offered: an event to which all are invited, namely a Facebook Live to be held, at 4:00 p.m., October 5, on the Secretariat page.  The goal: to learn a little more about all the features of this virtual platform designed for you and powered by us, in collaboration with PairConnex.
