Exploratory Workshop on Economic Reconciliation
June 11, 2025- June 11, 2025
Make the Most of the Conference: Participate in the Economic Reconciliation Exploratory Workshop
Before the official launch of the SCNATEA Annual Conference, we invite you to attend a special free workshop offered by the First Nations Executive Education, powered by HEC Montréal.
"Stronger Together: Building Bridges and Sharing Prosperity Through Economic Reconciliation with Cree and Anishinabe Nations"
This workshop explores economic reconciliation as a pathway to shared prosperity between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples, with a focus on the Cree and Anishinabe Nations.
Participants will deepen their understanding of economic reconciliation and its role in fostering sustainable partnerships that respect Indigenous rights and create mutual benefits.
The workshop will also introduce the four elements of the Evolutive Circle of Truth and Reconciliation, providing a framework to better understand and integrate this approach.
Moreover, in the second part, we will propose avenues for building closer ties between business people and First Nations, particularly the Cree and Anishinabe Nations.
Through dialogue, case studies, and practical strategies, we will examine how to build bridges, strengthen relationships, and contribute to a more inclusive economy.
