Would you like to increase your confidence as an entrepreneur? The entrepreneurial journey is often exciting but also full of challenges. Leaders who are well-supported are more likely to achieve their goals and grow their businesses to benefit their communities. That's why SCNATEA is proud to announce the launch of our new Mentorship Service, in collaboration with Réseau Mentorat.
What is mentorship?
Mentorship is a human relationship between business leaders that allows you to:
- Engage with an experienced entrepreneur.
- Increase your confidence to become a change agent.
- Affirm your values and convictions.
- Promote your well-being.
- Be listened to, without judgment and with respect.
- Be encouraged and inspired.
We believe that the positive impact of businesses within their community begins with the well-being of those who lead them.
Who are the Réseau Mentorat?
Réseau Mentorat is dedicated to developing the full potential of entrepreneurs through mentorship. Through mentorship, they help entrepreneurs find the support they need to thrive so they can fully contribute to the economic growth of their territory.
Who are the mentors?
Mentors are not instructors but transmitters of courage! Our mentors are experienced business people from the Cree Nation who are committed to supporting the next generation. With their lived experiences, listening skills, and insightful questioning, mentors support entrepreneurs in both their entrepreneurial skills development and their well-being.
What is SCNATEA's role?
In collaboration with Réseau Mentorat, SCNATEA encourages Eeyou community entrepreneurs by developing its mentorship service by and for the Cree community. We firmly believe that this service will help strengthen the capabilities of entrepreneurs and support the sustainable economic development of the Eeyou Istchee Territory.
