Join us for Business Exchange Day 2024 on November 13 at the Forestel in Val-d'Or!
This unique event returns in its traditional format, with a full day dedicated to business meetings, mentorship, and networking. It’s the perfect opportunity to forge lasting connections with key players from the Eeyou Istchee, Anicinabe territories, and beyond.
Business Exchange Day is a must-attend event for anyone looking to expand their network and build strategic partnerships. Since 2003, it has been a key venue for business development, combining business "speed dating" sessions, exhibitors, inspiring speakers, and numerous networking opportunities.
This year, we’re introducing a special presentation of the culturally adapted mentorship program for the Cree Nation, Niimuudaan. In addition, flash mentorship activities will allow participants to experience the enriching human connection that mentorship offers. The day will be hosted by Christopher Hérodier, a proud member of the Cree Nation from Chisasibi and a CBC North Cree host since 2013. Throughout the event, Christopher will integrate Cree language into the discussions, highlighting Cree culture and language.
A call to action will also be issued to encourage companies to renew or make new commitments to promoting the inclusion of First Nations in the economy.
