Ajikon: The New Newsletter to Build Connections
We are proud to announce the launch of Ajikon, the brand-new Newsletter from the Secretariat to the Cree Nation Abitibi-Témiscamingue Economic Alliance (SCNATEA). The name, meaning “to communicate, exchange, and meet” in Anishinabe, perfectly reflects the mission of this publication: to encourage dialogue, foster sharing, and strengthen bonds between Anishinabek communities and their partners.
Through Ajikon, we aim to highlight the initiatives, projects, and achievements that shape the cultural, social, and economic life of Anishinabek communities. Each edition will feature diverse articles covering essential topics such as economic development, culture, the environment, and collaborative projects led by communities and their allies.
This Newsletter is more than just an informational tool; it is a platform to celebrate the voices and stories that weave the collective identity of the Anishinabek. By amplifying the voices of those driving progress in our communities, we hope to inspire, motivate, and unite people around a shared vision: building lasting and harmonious relationships.
Ajikon will be published quarterly and distributed in digital format for optimal accessibility. We invite you to subscribe now to stay connected and discover the many initiatives that highlight the vibrancy of Anishinabek communities.
