2026 Annual Conference

At the heart of Northern economic dynamics, the relationships between territories, Nations, and regional stakeholders play a key role in building a sustainable future. More than ever, Northern development relies on collaborative approaches grounded in strong relationships and respect for local realities.

It is in this spirit that the Secretariat to the Cree Nation Abitibi-Témiscamingue Economic Alliance (SCNATEA) invites you to the 22nd Annual Conference, taking place on June 16 and 17, 2026, at the Forestel Hotel in Val-d’Or.

Under the theme “Territory, Resources, and Alliances: A stronger North, together!”, this event will bring together nearly 200 participants, including Indigenous and non-Indigenous leaders, municipal and regional representatives, business leaders, and economic development stakeholders. It offers a unique space to exchange ideas, build partnerships, and advance concrete initiatives for Northern development.

Organizations wishing to take an active role in the event are invited to explore our visibility plan, designed to offer meaningful exposure while contributing to the success of the conference.

Please note that booth spaces are exclusively reserved for contributors through our Beaver, Bear, Moose, and Eagle visibility plans.

Registration will officially open on May 4. You will have the option to register for the conferences, the Dinner & Cultural Evening on June 16, or the pre-conference workshop, each requiring separate registration. Please make sure to select all activities you wish to attend.
